Who We Are...

Donna D. Ignatavicius (better known as "Iggy" by faculty and students) is the owner and President of DI Associates, Inc. Her husband Charles, a former nursing home administrator (NHA), is Vice President. DI Associates now has three associate consultants whose expertise is in curriculum development and evaluation: Dr. Tami Little, Dr. Cherie Rebar and Dr. Nicole Heimgartner

  Our Company

Nationally recognized as an expert in nursing education and medical-surgical/gerontological nursing, Iggy has a wealth of experience in education, clinical nursing, and administration. She has taught in PN, diploma, AD, and BSN programs for many years.

Currently, Iggy conducts local, regional, and national conferences and program consultation on such topics as curriculum transformation, active learning strategies, and evaluation methods. She has conducted over 2000 of these presentations in all 50 states during the past 10 years.

Iggy is also the founder of the very popular, international Boot Camp for Nurse Educators® conference, a valuable educational experience that provides an opportunity for both novice and seasoned faculty to learn about current best practices in nursing education.

Additionally, Iggy is the author of a number of articles, chapters, and books, including her leading textbook, Medical-Surgical Nursing: Concepts for Interprofessional Collaborative Care, 10th Edition, co-authored with Linda Workman, Cherie Rebar and Nicole Heimgartner.

In 2007, Iggy was inducted into the prestigious Academy of Nursing Education (ANEF) in recognition of her national contributions to the field of nursing education.
